The Economics Department offers one of the flagship courses in our college, dedicated to providing in-depth knowledge and working in the field of Economics. The faculty is outstanding, holding PhD degrees, masters from abroad, and both international and national publications in their names. 

We put our best foot forward in providing beyond classroom experiences via multidisciplinary activities such as inter-college Economics Festival with activities such as debates, quizzes, case studies and a lot more. Also, we have had the privilege of having some industry experts as guest speakers in the college. The Economics Society: Eparcus is dedicated towards inculcating economics and financial know-how in the student community, and aims to inspire an understanding and application of economic concepts in day-to-day issues of life amongst university students who realize the immense importance and practical relevance of this field in the complex world.

The department has recently launched a Monthly Newsletter to engage students in key economic affairs and disseminate the latest information. 

Towards internship experiences, the students in the Economics Department have left no stone unturned in getting selected with reputed firms such as Bajaj Capital, Chegg, Teach For India, Sharekhan and so on. Classroom discussions are add-ons to the rich learning environment.

The students have shown impeccable academic performance and have been selected for post-graduation in top Indian universities such as ISI, DSE, JNU, MSE, Gokhale and B.R Ambedkar to name a few. Many have proven their mettle by getting admission in foreign universities in the UK, USA, Australia and Germany.
