inaugurated its Creche Cum Day Care center Parvarish on 25th October
2019. Parvarish
Day Care Centre for the children of its teaching and
non-teaching staff, who have to juggle between work and take care of their
young children. The Center is operational from 8.30 am to
5.30 pm

Young parents on the Lakshmibai campus now have a new support platform for raising and grooming their kids. The College inaugurated its Creche Cum Day Care center Parvarish on 25th October 2019. The crèche was inaugurated by Shri Gopal Rai, Minister for Employment, Development, Labour, General Administration and Irrigation in Government of Delhi.
Parvarish Day Care Center on the campus is built with an objective to support the staff (Teaching as well as Non-Teaching) to take care of their kids and provide them with a stimulating environment.
As many as 25 kids can be admitted at the Center at a time. The Center is open for children of 6 months (infant group) till 10 years of age. This will be especially helpful to the women as it will ease their stress on looking after their kid while they are working.
The Center is operational from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and is divided into three slots—half day, full day and even day-wise for its employees. It fundamentally caters to taking care of infants, play group and After School Care Program. The curriculum centers around social and emotional development, cognitive development and developing creative arts.
The Center operates with two floors i.e. Ground and First with fully equipped pantry and child friendly facilities. The center head and supporting staff undergoes regular training programs for early childhood care. The day to day running of the Center has been outsourced to an external agency Eurokids, a pre-school and play group chain. Besides being equipped with all the fundamental facilities, the Center is armed with all the modern technologies. An app based service through CCTV can enable parents to remotely watch what their kids are doing at the Center. The Parents Connect group gives a constant update on the activities of the child to the parents.
