Gymnasium

Swami Vivekananda had written "The brain and muscles must develop simultaneously. Iron nerves with an intelligent brain and the whole world is at your feet." The Lakshmibai College is proud to present its modern, up-to-date and fully-equipped gymnasium, an essential feature of the college's robust infrastructure. A sound mind in a sound body is the motto behind the establishment of the college gymnasium. The gymnasium is open to all, for all the students and staff, on payment basis, Rs. 500 only per month, for six days a week. However, it is maintained especially for the students belonging to the sports curriculum. It is a bustling space with a lot of activities and positive vibes playing around. It boasts of almost every required facilities, from treadmill to cross-trainer, from cycling machines to twisters to name a few. Further we possess eight station exercise set, exercise bikes, weighing equipment, crunch exercise equipment, and what not!  The gymnasium instructor is there to show the proper way to do everything, from breathing exercises to stretching exercises. It enables the students to achieve their ultimate goal, to improve their physical stamina and it is an essential requirement to attain the vigor of body and the tranquility of mind. After all, strength is life, and what the world wants today, more than it ever did before, is strength.
