The Music and Dance Society operates under the aegis of The Department of Music. This is one society which remains active throughout the academic session- right from the opening day of the college till the college’s Annual Day. The society puts immense effort and hard work to make each and every event enjoyable, which is evident from the fact that each event in Lakshmibai College has always been a great success. It also augments the hidden talents of the students and allows them to pursue their interests as their careers by encouraging, polishing and enhancing their creative side. Besides, it organizes singing and dance competition (interclass/ intercollegiate) every year in the month of September/ February to ensure a steady platform for each student to portray their talent to all and face the world with confidence.
