Apparel Design and Construction (ADC) has
three laboratories at Lakshmibai College. ADC lab with 15 workstations each
fitted with a stitching machine on state of art table fitting. Lab is well lit
and fully air-conditioned. There are number of textile testing equipment in the
lab viz. Crease recovery tester, with a white board and three mannequins. Lab
is equipped with eight wooden stools and sixteen high stools for the
theoretical discussions.
The Dyeing lab has a capacity of eight
students with six burners, 3 gas cylinders (with cylinder cage and gas
pipeline), dyes, auxiliaries and utensils for dyeing.
The Printing lab has a big padded table, two
cupboards, with number of wooden blocks, printing paste, squeegees, trays and
sponges etc. to accommodate around eight students at a time.
