Career Profile

I completed my undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Presidency, Calcutta University. Subsequently, I moved to Delhi to pursue my post graduate studies. I completed my M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. (under supervisor Prof. Nirmalangshu Mukherjee) from the University of Delhi. 

I have been associated with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the University of Delhi for more than two decades. My areas of interest are Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Mind, Logic and Western Philosophy. I am actively involved in the Philosophy Society Sophia and the Enabling Unit of the college where I can engage with the students beyond classroom teaching. I encourage critical reading, novel interpretations of philosophical texts and interdisciplinary discussions among students in the classrooms and beyond.
