Career Profile

Ms Behera has been teaching at Department of Political Science, Lakshmibai College since January 2009. Prior to that she has taught at Maharaja Agrasen College, Shyamlal College (M), and Daulat Ram College of University of Delhi. Her teaching interest is focused on Indian politics and Indian political thought.

Administrative Assignments

Ms Rashmita Behera was teacher-in-charge of the Department of Political Science during the academic year 2013-14. She has worked as Convener of Women's Development Centre, Fee concession & Prize Committee, Co-Convener of Gandhi Study Circle, and Member of Fine Arts & Admission Committees in the past.  She has also served as the Treasurer of the Staff Association of Lakshmibai College during 2013-15. Have worked as coordinator of foreign languages in Lakshmibai college for the years 2018-2020. Have worked as Assistant coordinator of IGNOU Centre, Lakshmibai college from 2015-2020.
