Career Profile

Ankit Kumar is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Lakshmibai College, University of Delhi, Delhi, India. He holds a post-graduate degree in MSc from South Asian University, New Delhi. Teaching Computer Science has been his long-cherished dream. His areas of interest include Deep Learning and Machine Learning, especially their application in the domain of Natural Language Processing and Understanding (NLPU). Besides NLPU, he is also interested in Cancer research and is working on his own models to explain cancer development and its possible reason(s). He has published a number of research articles in reputed journals, and presented papers in many national and international conferences.

Other Activities

Developed the website for LBC Haat - a website for marketing the products developed by college under the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell.
Designed and developed a web application to ensure a unified record keeping, and smooth and transparent selection of SEC, VAC, AEC and GE subjects for UGCF students according to the requirements of the university and our college.
Designed and developed In-house Web App for the college to digitalize the data and manage it more efficiently.
Headed the team to develop the Virtual Tour for college.
Provided the technical support in both the preparation and conducting of the Virtual Annual Day of our college.
Developed AnkVigyaan- a data analysis platform to analyse data and and visualize the important results and conclusions.
Provided Technical support for for preparation of NAAC report for the college.
Provided Technical Support for conducting various online webinars and events for other Departments and their Societies in the college.
Contributed in the development of guidelines for the B.Sc. (H) subject Data Analysis and Visualization at Delhi university.
