I have not studied a particular subject in Class XII, but I want to appear in that CUET. Can I do so for meeting the eligibility of a particular program?
For admission to all undergraduate (UG) program at the University of Delhi, candidates must appear in only those paper in CUET in which s/he have passed Class XII board exams.
Will the medium Language in CUET be considered for admissions of University of Delhi?
Yes, all 33 languages of CUET will be considered for admission of the University of Delhi.
I am applying for improvement in one of my subjects, can I take admission in DU?
For admission in University of Delhi you should have cleared Class XII.
I have applied for CUET and added a few undergraduate programs at the University of Delhi, but there was no provision to select Colleges. How will I know where my admission will be?
After the registration process of CUET, you will be required to fill out the counseling form of the University of Delhi. Details of selecting the Programs and Colleges will be published on the website. Keep looking at the admission website on a regular basis.
While applying CUET do I have upload class XII marks of all the subjects or only best four/five?
You should upload marks for all the subjects you have appeared in Class XII in case your result is declared.
How will I apply for the Extra-Curricular Activities quota at the University of Delhi?
Appear in CUET 2022 and wait for the announcement of the University of Delhi in this regard.
Is there any weightage to Class XII board marks for taking admission in undergraduate programs at the University of Delhi?
Applicants must have passed Class XII board examination of its equivalent from a single recognized Board.
How will colleges at the University of Delhi be allotted after the declaration of CUET results?

Is Section III (General Test) compulsory for admission to DU?
Appearing in Section III (General Test) may be compulsory for some of the programs of the University of Delhi. You must check the Program-Specific eligibility of the programs in which you wish to take admission.
In case I score fewer marks in a subject in Class XII board examination but good marks in CUET in that subject will it affect my admission?
Class XII marks will be checked only for the minimum eligibility. For admission to a particular undergraduate program at the University of Delhi, the score obtained by the applicant in CUET 2022 will be considered according to the program-specific eligibility of that program.
Admissions
It is mandatory for all students to apply online for admission on the University of Delhi admission form  No student can be considered for admission if she has not filled the University admission form. There's no offline form this year.


What should I do first? I am a bit confused about the specific order of things at this point.
On the date mentioned above, collect your form from a registration centre (the same will be declared by the University). Fill it in with your details and choice of course. Submit it within the admission period, and then wait for the cut-offs to be declared. If you meet the cut-off criterion for a specific college, head over to that college within the cut-off period (this is the number of days that the college will entertain admission for students of a particular cut-off list) and hand in your documents. Then pay the fees for the first year of study and you’re good to go. 
Which documents do I need to produce for admission?

The applicants shall be required to produce following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission:

1.  Class X Board Examination Certificate

2.  Class X Marks-Sheet

3.  Class XII Marks-Sheet

4.  Class XII Provisional Certificate / Original Certificate

 

5.  Character Certificate (recent)

6.  SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority

 

7.  OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority

 

8. Transfer Certificate from school / college as well as Migration Certificate from Board / University are required from those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi

 

9.  At least two passport size self-attested photographs.

 The University will accept self-attested copies of documents / papers provided by the students. It is made clear that if any false attestation / falsified records are detected, the student will be debarred from attending any course in the University / or its Colleges for next five years and in addition, a criminal case under relevant sections of IPC (viz. 470,471,474 etc.) will be instituted against him/her.

What is the last day of submitting admission forms?

The “online registration and registration fee payment” shall continue till 06:00 PM of 19th June 2016. However, those 

applicants who have confirmed their online registration at the UG admission portal till 06:00 PM of 19th June 2016 

shall be permitted to submit online registration fee till 12 noon of 20th June 2016.

 

In how much time will I get my documents back from the college as I plan to get admission in another college after my name appears in second list?
 The documents are returned within 24 hours as per the withdrawal procedure prescribed by University of Delhi. Is there a different cut-off for students applying from outside Delhi? What is the procedure for withdrawl in Lakshmibai College?
Withdrawl procedure is available on DU's website (www.du.ac.in.). The college follows University of Delhi's guidelines.
Is there a different cut-off for students applying from outside Delhi?
No, cut-0ff is same for Delhi and outstation students.
I’m an outstation student and wish to apply to DU. Do I need a migration or transfer certificate?

You must have Migration/ Provisional Migration and Transfer Certificate at the time of admission.

I appeared in class 12th exam last year but failed to clear mathematics. Then, I appeared in the compartment exam and cleared it. Now, I have two marks sheets, can I get admission?

Yes, you can get admission provided you meet the required cut off for that year and have all necessary documents and you will not be at any disadvantage.

In which semesters will the students be offered the GE papers?

Students in their first, second, third and fourth semesters will have the option of studying the GE papers.

Can we pursue any other course along with the BA (Prog.)?

Yes, you can pursue only part time courses such as certificate courses, Diploma Courses etc., with this graduation degree.
