Career Synopsis

  • Completed my Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (Centre for the Study of Social Systems), New Delhi.
  • The thesis was entitled “Marital Quality in India: A study based in the National Capital Region”.
  • Earlier, I obtained MA (Sociology) and M. Phil (Social Systems) from Centre for the Study of Social Systems (CSSS), JNU.
  • My M.Phil dissertation was titled, “Marriage as a social institution: The Nature-Nurture Antinomy”. The dissertation is now published in the form of a book entitled Duality of Human Marriage (2019).
  • I hold research experience as a Senior Research Assistant at Nehru Memorial Museum & Library since July 2019.
  • I received the prestigious T.K. Oommen award for having scored the highest CGPA during my MA course.
  • Qualified UGC-NET exam [UGC Ref. No. 7368/(NET-DEC. 2014)].
  • Prior to this, I graduated with a B. Tech degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur and also worked in the IT industry as a Software Engineer.
