• Submitted to University of Delhi for the partial fulfilment of Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Project Supervisor - Dr. N. Deka, Associate Professor at Indraprastha College for Women, DU.

• The abstract selected for a paper presentation at International Congress of Psychology, held in Cape Town in July 2012.

2. “God Image and its correlates among developmental stages and genders among Hindus(2012-13)• Submitted to University of Delhi for the partial fulfilment of Master’s Degree in Psychology. Project Supervisor – Dr. Girishwar Misra, Professor, North campus, University of Delhi.

• Research findings were presented at National Association of Psychology (NAOP, 2014) and International Congress of Psychology (ICP, 2016).

3. “The Shared Spaces: Exploring the Boundaries, Barriers and Bridges in Contemporary India” (2014-2015)• Worked in this ICSSR awarded project, which was supervised by Prof G. Misra, Prof Purnima Singh, Dr. Preeti Kapur and Dr. Roomana Siddiqui.

• Research findings were presented at International Congress of Psychology (ICP, 2016) as well as other national seminars and conferences.

 ·       Awarded Junior Research Fellow at University Grants Commission (UGC) since 2014. Upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (UGC) in February 2017.

·       Selected as a PhD Research Scholar at Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSS), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in 2014.

·       Brijbans Kishore Memorial Prize for securing 1st position in B.A. Hons. Psychology (Part III), University of Delhi. Felicitated by Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, 2012.

Associated With Professional Bodies

·      Developed a psychometric career assessment tool that is used by more than 10 lac students of government schools in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and various other development projects. The projects have been supported by International Agencies like UNDP, Central Square Foundation. 

·      Developed counselor-training modules for building the capacity of 220+ EVG counselors of Delhi government. The module helped the counselors to understand the basics of counseling and career counseling.

·      Developed an intensive 3-month online curriculum for the Career Counseling Certification Program that has been taken by around 500 participants from all over India and many other countries like Oman, UAE, Germany, etc.

·      Led a Covid-19 response socio-psychological project supported by UNICEF and YUWAAH. Conceptualized, designed and conducted weekly YouTube sessions ‘Dil Ki Baat’ on diverse socio-psychological themes which have been viewed by over 200k government school students from various states of India. Also, led a team of counselors for running a Covid-19 support helpline for students.

Central Board of Secondary Education

·      Invited as a CBSE Resource Person to conduct a two-day Teachers’ Training Program on ‘Adolescence Education’ at St. PBN School, Gurgaon on 18th and 19th October, 2019. Diverse group of twenty teachers from schools across Delhi-NCR participated in the program.

·      As an active team member, contributed towards designing the curriculum of the Capacity Building Program for teachers on ‘Teacher as Counselor’.

 

SEEDS India

·       Led the socio-psychological project by SEEDS India supported by the Honeywell Safe Schools Program, that involved the psycho-social capacity building of the teachers, SMCs and parents of 56 DOE & EDMC Schools in East Delhi. Developed a 6-hour rigorous training curriculum for the primary as well as the senior school’s teachers that was based on need assessment with a focus to build the teachers’ capacity to deal with the ongoing covid-19 related challenges of the online classroom.
